Railers sail past the Green Wave 70-52
Kameron Whiteman's 18 points leads Lincoln

[December 11, 2019]    Lincoln traveled to Mattoon Tuesday night to take on the Green Wave on the basketball court. Lincoln led 31-7 after the first quarter and 54-18 at the half.

 

The Railers placed four players in double figures as the final score was settled on 70-52. Kameron Whiteman led the Railers with 18 points. Will Ewald scored 15 points. Dylan Singleton tossed in 12 points and Kaden Froebe had 10 points.

The Railers JV Team ended in a tie, 44-44. Apparently the scoreboard had the Railers winning 46-44 but both scorebooks recorded 44 points. The officials did not confirm the score before leaving the court. That’s the first tie this season for the Railers.

Brody Whiteman led the JV with 14 points.

Lincoln improves to 6-0. The Railers will host Effingham Friday night. The JV starts at 6 p.m. Varsity is set for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
