Railer wrestlers finish ninth overall in Railer Rumble

Lincoln Youth Wrestling hosted the Lincoln Railer Rumble Sunday December 8th, the result were as follows.

Tot Division (5 & under)
Declan Dawdy, Hudson Glenn and Becket King all placed 3rd. Weslee Pearce, Blaine Gail and Noah Anguiano finished 4th.

Bantam Division (Ages 6&7)
Jayce King and Liam Brandt were Champions. Preston Mestas, Brodie Glenn and Garrett Durbin placed 2nd. Kyrell Kelly, John Kohl and Greyson Fisher finished 3rd. Kaylee Geggie, Owen Curtis, Carter Johnson, Armoni Cheger, Jacoby Bainter, Isaiah Anguiano, Rosco Eimer all placed 4th.

Intermediate Division (Ages 8&9)
Logan White was Champion. Barrett Grenlund, Zach Carlile and Elliott Martin placed 2nd.
Drew Geary was 3rd. Gabe Cummings took 4th.

Novice Division (Ages 10&11)
Seth Durbin placed 2nd. Cameron Bell, Dominick Cummings and Lakin Adams finished 3rd. Steven Buchanan took 4th.

Senior Division (ages 12, 13 &14)
Colbie Glenn, and Jacob Lawrence were Champions. Grant Laubenstein finished 4th.

As a team Lincoln Youth Wrestling finished in 9th place with 100 points. Monticello Youth Wrestling won the tournament with 172 points, Cumberland Youth Wrestling was 2nd with 169 points and Rochester Wrestling club was 3rd with 161 points.

Lincoln Youth Wrestling will be traveling to Springfield Southeast High School next Sunday to compete at the Meet in the Middle tournament hosted by Rochester Wrestling Club.

LYW will be wrestling Clinton Youth Wrestling Club in a duel meet at Lincoln Jr High Monday December 16th at 5:00 PM in conjunction with the Jr High’s first Meet of the season as they take on Bloomington Evans and Dee Mack.
