West Lincoln Broadwell breezes through 8th Grade Class 1A State Tournament to play for title

[December 16, 2019]  The Lady Wolverines defeated Sigel St. Michael’s 64-13 on Saturday morning in the first round of the 8th Grade Class 1A State Basketball Tournament at Clinton Junior High School.

Kloe Froebe led WLB with 25 points. Jenna Bowman reached double figures for the Lady Wolverines with 14 points.

In the semifinals Saturday night WLB knocked off Mount Pulaski 63-13.

Kloe Froebe led all scorers with 33 points. Jenna Bowman tossed in 13 points.

WLB (28-0) will play Ashland A-C Central (25-3) Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. for the state title at Clinton Junior High School.
