Memorial Medical Center Foundation to Hold First Ever Raffle to Raise Money for Patient Assistance Funds

[February 07, 2019]  To raise money to assist cancer patients and sexual assault survivors among others, the Memorial Medical Center Foundation is launching its first ever raffle, which will offer up to $75,000 to the grand prizewinner.

Ticket sales for the 75 Grand Raffle went are on sale now and can be purchased online at MemorialMedicalFoundation. com/Raffle  or by visiting the foundation office at 1000 Churchill Road in Springfield or calling 217-788-4700.

The grand-prize drawing will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15.  An early-bird drawing will be held Friday, Feb. 22, in which two winners will each receive $1,000; the winners will remain eligible for the grand-prize drawing.

The raffle will raise money for the following five funds: the Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, the Sexual Assault Survivor Fund, the Transplant Patient Assistance Fund and the Sharing Wishes Fund, which helps fulfill the wishes of hospice patients in central Illinois.

The raffle will offer 22 prizes totaling $95,000, which includes the $75,000 prize going to the grand prizewinner. Ticket sales will be limited to 2,000.
