Fred Lamkey hired as  Mount Pulaski CUSD 23 Superintendent

The Mount Pulaski CUSD #23 board of education signed Fred Lamkey to a three year contract as district superintendent at the January 23, 2019 regular board meeting.

Lamkey will assume duties July 1, 2019 as he replaces Phil Shelton who served as interim Superintendent since August 2018.

He will serve 516 students in grades Pre-K through 12 on two separate campuses.

Lamkey is completing his 29th year in education having served the past four years as the superintendent for Edinburg CUSD #4 in Christian County. He previously served as a building administrator in Riverton and Warrensburg-Latham.
