On
Saturday the indoor tennis courts at the Lincoln Park District
Recreation Center were packed with more than 70 exhibitors and
vendors there to share with guests important information about
staying healthy and living well. Crowds came in throughout the day
and took advantage of the opportunities to discuss health
situations, health risks, and means of preventing long-term
illnesses such as cancer and heart disease. There were also free
screenings such as cholesterol and blood sugar offered through the
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, and fun and games such as the
inflatable slide and balloon figures for the kids.
