Wyatt Collier named LTEC January

Wyatt Collier, son of Todd & Jaymee McAllister, was named January
Student of the Month for the Advanced Welding program at the
Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Wyatt is a senior at Lincoln
Community High School.
Mr. Jay Akers, instructor, selected Wyatt for his hard work and
great attitude. Mr. Akers says that Wyatt has consistently done well
in all the areas of the welding program. He is a dedicated worker in
class. He is a responsible young man that comes to class ready to
work. He works well with others and takes his assignments seriously.
He is dependable and able to keep focused on the task at hand. Wyatt
is eager and works hard to learn new things. He is a pleasure to
have in class.
Wyatt participates in LCHS Basketball and is an Honor Roll student.

Wyatt’s future goal is to go into the National Guard for Horizontal Construction
Engineering and Local 965 Operating Engineers Apprenticeship.
Wyatt received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award
and honored him at a noon luncheon.
