Lincoln Railers finish 4th in the Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic

The Lincoln Railers lost 64-55 to Rockford East Saturday night to finish fourth in the Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic.

 

Lincoln was down 26-24 at the half to Rockford East. The Railers and the Erabs were tied 43-43 heading into the final quarter. Sincere Parker scored 11 points in the final quarter to lead Rockford East in the win. Parker finished with 31 points, including seven three-pointers. 

 

Kaden Froebe scored a career-high 31 points for the Railers, including an outstanding 17-for-17 performance from the free throw line. 

 

Jermaine Hamlin poured in 17 points for Lincoln. 

 

 

Lincoln's record falls to 11-2 on the season. 

 

Lincoln will return to Roy S. Anderson on Friday, January 4th to take on Prairie Central. 

 

On Saturday, January 5th the Railers will travel to Champaign to take on Champaign Centennial. 

 

 

Southeast edged Collinsville 65-62 on a three to end the championship game. Southeast becomes back-to-back champions of the tournament.
