She's
here! Logan County's New Year's baby has
arrived. Just a few hours long on hitting the
January first birth date, Kadence Lane Sheley
was born at 4:47 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2nd
at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Kadence is
the daughter of Isaac and Jennifer Sheley of
Chestnut and will be welcomed home by her two
big sisters, Addison and Rylee.

On
Thursday evening the Logan County Board
held a special Regular meeting with only
one item on the agenda, the appointment
of a new Logan County State's Attorney.
At the end of the meeting Assistant
Logan County State's Attorney Brad Hauge
was appointed to fill that position.
Hauge will replace Jonathan Wright who
has been appointed to a judgeship.
