- Mary Alice Hotchkiss, 95, of Lakota, IA passed away
on Monday, December 17, 2018 in her daughter’s home in Round Rock,
TX, surrounded by her loving family.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski

Obituary
Mary Alice Hotchkiss, 95, of Lakota,
IA passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 in her
daughter’s home in Round Rock, TX, surrounded by her
loving family.
Mary Alice was born on December 6, 1923 in Lake
Fork. She married John Ukena on December 6, 1944 in
Lakota, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1979. She
married Matt Hotchkiss on November 8, 1980 in
Lakota, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Mary Alice is survived by her daughter, Emma (Mike)
Ausen of Round Rock, TX., Donald Gene Ukena of
Dakota City, IA. Granddaughters, Jenny (Paul) Ford
and Amy (Jay) Sellers. Great grandchildren, Sabrina
and Milo Ford. Sisters, Velma Burt and Alma Walker.
Brothers, Dean Mileham, Eddie Mileham, Buster
Mileham.
Mary Alice is preceded in death by her parents, her
brothers, Elmer Lee Mileham and Buddy Mileham
Services for Mary Alice will be held at 11:00am on
Friday, December 28, 2018 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski. Visitation will take
place one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00
a.m.) also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at Carlyle Cemetery,
Lake Fork.
