Goodgion named December 2018 ALMH Employee of the Month

[January 05, 2019]  ALMH purchasing specialist Melanie Goodgion of Lincoln, Illinois has been named the December 2018 Employee of the Month at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. Goodgion was selected by her peers for the honor.

Goodgion has been in her role at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. As a purchasing specialist, Goodgion plays a critical role in providing the products ALMH needs to serve patients.

“My typical day is very busy. I order everything from bandages to new computers,” said Goodgion.

She is proud of her work at ALMH because of the greater role the hospital plays in the community.

“While my day-to-day job is not providing clinical care to patients, I know that what I do makes a difference. I know that ALMH helps our community and I am honored to be part of that. I’m also thankful for the teamwork we have at ALMH not only in my department but across departments,” said Goodgion.
