Lincoln Junior High Wrestlers results

Lincoln Junior High Trojans wrestling team returned to action on Saturday, January 5th at the 18-team Jacksonville Invite and finished with a 9th place team finish.

This is a very tough tournament and the kids wrestled hard.

Place winners for the Trojans were

80lb Logan Baker and 185lb Niccolas 3rd place,

112lb Isaac Decker, 126lb Dawson McConnell and 145lb Wyatt Mammen 4th pl,

105lb Colbie Glenn 5th,

90lb Jacob Lawrence and HWY Ryan ODonoghue 6th,

65lb Cameron Robertson and 167lb Tristan Barger 7th,

215lb Ashton Koontz 9th and 95ab Noah Johnson 10th.

The Trojans wrestlers then loss a 52-51 match to Leroy and a 53-40 match to Tremont Monday night in Tremont to move the team record to 5-5.

Finishing the night with a 2-0 record was 105lb Colbie Glenn, 112lb Isaac Decker, 126lb Dawson McConnell, 145lb Wyatt Mammen and 185lb Niccolas Sundeen.

Finishing the night with a 1-1 record were 80lb Logan Baker, 90lb Jacob Lawrence, 100lb Grant Laubenstein, 167lb Tristan Barger and Hwt. Ryan ODonoghue. Next up for the Trojans is a Wednesday away meet against Mahomet and Normal Kingsley.
