WLB wins Seventh Grade Logan County Championship

[January 10, 2019] 

The West Lincoln Broadwell Lady Wolverines claimed the Seventh Grade Logan County Volleyball Championship Monday night by defeating Hartsburg-Emden in the championship game in two sets, 25-15 and 25-14.

 

Jenna Bowman had 6 kills to lead the way for WLB. Kloe Froebe had 4 kills for the Lady Wolverines. Regan Goodey led with 14 assists and Becca Heitzig had 3 aces. Froebe led passing with 2.2/3.0.

 

WLB also defeated Mount Pulaski in the semifinals in two sets, 25-10 and 25-15.

 

Jenna Bowman led the Lady Wolverines with 8 kills. Regan Goodey had 6 aces and 12 assists. Becca Heitzig led passing with 2.1/3.0.

 

In other county results:

 

Chester East-Lincoln defeated Carroll Catholic 25-18 and 25-14.

Hartem defeated Chester East-Lincoln 25-13 and 25-10.
 

Mount Pulaski defeated Chester East-Lincoln 25-11 and 25-20 in the third place game.

 

 

Seventh Grade County was played at Mount Pulaski Grade School. 

 

Eighth Grade County will be played Monday at Carroll Catholic School.
