Fourth Quarter Homes Sales

The fourth quarter of 2018 saw an increase in home sales compared to 2017 for the same time period.

REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 86 homes in the fourth quarter of 2018, 18 more than the 68 sold during the same time period in 2017.

The average selling price for homes in the 2018 time period was $87,240, down slightly from $87,264 in 2017. Median prices were down, $78,500 compared to $81,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market was a bit longer with the average "Days on Market" in 2018 150 days. This was 5 days longer than the same time period in 2017.

The year 2018 saw the number of homes stay the same as 201. REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 362 homes in 2018, 107 at the same 362 in 2017.

The average selling price for homes in 2018 was $98,296, up from $95,156 in 2017. Median prices were up as well, $86,350 compared to $83,400.

The average home was on the market a shorter period of time with the average "Days on Market" in 2018 135 days. This was 5 days fewer than the same time period in 2017.

In 2018 21% of the homes sold were under $50,000, 36% between $50,000 and $100,000, 35% between $100,000 and $200,000, and finally 8% above $200,000.
