What can you say about the amazing Juggling Jeff? The Lincoln Public
Library Summer Reading Program, “It’s Showtime at Your Library,”
says “sign him up!”
“Jeff has been coming to our summer reading entertainment on
Thursday mornings for several years, and we always try to get him
back,” said Library Director Richard Sumrall.
Jeff Koziatek from St. Louis, aka Juggling Jeff, can do it all. He
can juggle, is an engaging speaker, and spreads humor and energy
wherever he goes. He is even a published author. “Learn Something
New, Never Give Up” is his motto, and he spreads that word and the
value of books and public libraries at every show he gives. “I
learned how to juggle from a book that I checked out at my local
public library,” he told his audience Thursday morning.
The excited young readers sitting on the floor at the Lincoln Public
Library annex were doing their best to follow “crisscross
applesauce” but sometimes it was just too much.

Jeff got a standing ovation even before his show was done. The adults sitting in
the back were smiling and laughing just as much as their kids. His humor is
infectious, his skills, as advertized, are amazing!
The Summer Reading Program entertainment at the Lincoln Public Library “It’s
Showtime at Your Library” lasts for another three weeks.
Be sure to sign up with the Youth Services Department at the library. Summer and
good books go together like a cold glass of lemonade and hot days.
