After winning five games in a row, Post 263’s senior team was bound to drop a game or two.

That happened Friday, as Post 263 lost to Crawfordsville (IN), 8 to 4, and then Danville, 14 to 5.

Eddie Saner, Nate Arnold, and Colton Holliday each had two hits against Crawfordsville, while Chad Saner, Jr. walked four times. Two runs each by Eddie Saner and Arnold, along with two RBI from Holliday, weren’t enough to overcome Crawfordsville.

In game 2, Post 263 jumped to a 1 to 0 lead in the first before Danville tied it in the second. An eight-run third inning all but doomed Post 263.

James White had three hits and an RBI, while Nate Arnold had two hits, an RBI, and a run scored.

Post 263 (11-7) will be off this weekend, before playing again Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Champaign.
