Third Fridays Downtown to Host Water Adventure Night July 19

Get ready for a good time! The 3rd Fridays Downtown Lincoln planning team is bringing back free summer fun to Lincoln's square on Friday, July 19 and Friday, August 23 beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be something for everyone – from games and shopping to local food favorites. You will not want to miss this unique Water Adventure Night featuring all things Lincoln.

Lincoln residents will be able to participate in a variety of games and activities involving water-filled inflatables, bouncy houses, an inflatable obstacle course and fire hydrant sprinkler.

Things to wear/bring:

  • Appropriate swimwear

  • Water shoes

  • Towel

  • Change of clothes

While the fun unfolds, indulge in your favorite downtown food favorites as local musical talent Harmony G.R.I.T.S. jams out to all your favorite modern country and classic rock hits on the corner of Kickapoo and Pulaski Streets.

Food on the Street:

  • Alley-Bi Saloon: cheeseburgers

  • Flossie & Delzena's: pulled pork nachos, frozen lemonade, smoothies, strawberry bubble lemonade

  • Mama’s Arcade Café: cheeseburgers

  • Sam Sorrento’s Pizza: pizza by the slice

About 3rd Fridays Downtown Lincoln

Lincoln’s 3rd Fridays Downtown events are held on the third Friday’s of each month from June through September, with two events in 2019. The event hours are 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will be located on the square in downtown Lincoln. The market will be positioned on Kickapoo Street between Pekin and Pulaski Streets. Each event may call for different street closures.
