Angela Likins 2019 winner of Lincoln Daily News Shop Logan County Readership Contest

We have a winner! Angela Likins of Latham is the winner of the Lincoln Daily News 2019 Shop Logan County Readership Contest. Angela is a daily reader of LDN and said that she played the read-and-win game every day during the contest. Many New Holland-Middletown parents may recognize Angela as the kindergarten teacher at the NH-M school.

Angela made a stop by the LDN offices this week and was presented with a check for $500 by Director of Advertising, Karen Hargis.

Angela has plans for her $500 check. She explained to Hargis that she is in the process of updating her kitchen. While Angela had hoped for new counter tops, they were not in the budget. However, with the extra $500 she can now imagine that the counter tops could become a reality this year!

"I just love it when we can reward a faithful LDN supporter!" said Hargis, "We love what we do, but it would be for nothing if no one read the paper. And this project highlighted a number of our businesses at encouraged local shopping."
