Russell Willis saved this old building and turned it into a wonderful and unique museum. It was originally the Jingling General Store in Hopedale built in 1900.

The creation of the Willis Snowmobile Museum is a family affair bringing Huck together with his three sons (L-R) Darrin, Dad Russell, Danny and Don. This quartet of craftsmen saved the old general store from certain demolition.

This is the first front engine snowmobile. It was built by Arctic Cat, but according to Russell, was not a success.

This Model T snowmobile is the oldest sled in the Willis collection. It dates from 1923 and was designed by Virgil White in New England mainly for doctors and mail carriers so they could carry out their rounds.

An ingenious system of treads and wheels turned this old beauty into a cross-country machine for the deep New England snows. The front skis can be removed so that it can be driven on a road.

This street in Hopedale is filled with antique snowmobiles brought by members of the Antique Snowmobile Club of America for their annual convention.
