[July 29, 2019]  LINCOLN - Valerie A. Thompson Henrichsmeyer, 67, of Lincoln passed away on Friday , July 26, 2019 at Regency Care Nursing Home in Springfield.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jefferson Street Christian Church

Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church

Funeral home: Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln     

Obituary

Valerie A. Thompson Henrichsmeyer, 67, of Lincoln passed away on Friday , July 26, 2019 at Regency Care Nursing Home in Springfield.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jefferson Street Christian Church with Mr. Ryan Edgecombe will be officiating.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield at a later date.

Valerie A. Thompson was born on July 6, 1952 in Springfield the daughter of Tommy Jones Thompson and Edna Rowe Thompson. She was united in marriage to Greg Allen Henrichsmeyer on June 18, 1994. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother: Edna Rowe, one daughter: Emily (Rex) Shawgo, two sisters: Jean Replogle , Donna (Fritz) Long .

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister: Brenda Thompson, one brother: Steve Thompson.

Val was served in the United States Army. She retired from the Christian Nursing Home as a Nurse.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed movies and animals.

Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Logan County
