Lucille Flick Larson Scholarships awarded to Margaret Hanger and Alexis Davis

[May 31, 2019]  LINCOLN - Margaret G. Hanger and Alexis R. Davis, both of Lincoln, have been selected as the 2019 scholarship recipients by State Bank of Lincoln, Trustee of the Lucille Flick Larson Scholarship Trust.

The trust was originally established in 1994 by Arthur Larson in memory of his loving wife Lucille Flick Larson. Mrs. Larson taught school for 38 years. She was a graduate of Lincoln Community High School, and she also attended Lincoln College, Normal Teachers' College and the University of Michigan. Throughout her career she dedicated herself to "excellence in education" and provided a caring haven for her students.
