[June 10, 2019]    Monster Energy NACAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway has been postponed until Monday.

The starting time has been reset for 5 p.m. ET, airing on FS1, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

The race was originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, but a wet track cancelled that.

The race nearly got started an hour later as the order to start engines was given and the cars headed out onto the track. But during the warmup laps, rain began to fall once again. At about 4:30 p.m. ET, the decision was announced to race on Monday.

Joe Logano of Team Penske won the pole for the event and will lead the field to the green flag on Monday.
