Skylar Hayes shines in the IBCA All-Star Game

[June 17, 2019]    Skylar Hayes, a 2019 graduate of Mount Pulaski High School, represented the Hilltoppers in the 2019 Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Game held at Pontiac High School on Saturday, June, 8, 2019.

Hayes played for the Girls Class 1A-2A South All-Stars. She had an impressive showing with nine points, three assists, one block and one steal. Hayes made a great move in the lane with less than a minute remaining to tie the game. She was fouled on the basket and her free throw put the South in the lead 90-89. The South would go on to win 93-92 over the North. Hayes received the Leadership Award for the Class 1A-2A South All-Stars.

Hayes will attend the University of Illinois-Springfield in the fall and continue her basketball career.
