LINCOLN
The Lincoln Public Library got their summer reading program off to
an exciting start Thursday morning with a performance by perennial
favorite, the Hanson Family. This year the summer reading program is
titled “Showtime at the Library.”
The LPL has signed up three hundred young readers for the annual
program, and has room for more. Adults are encouraged to sign up for
the Summer Reading Program also.
There will be Thursday morning entertainment at 10 a.m. for the six
weeks, and the library books the best shows.
Juggling pins fill
the air.
The Hanson Family always puts on a great show of juggling, unicycle
riding, and comedy that has the kids cheering and clapping with
delight. They have been booked for 110 libraries this summer in
Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, North and South Dakota, and
Minnesota so that attests to their popularity.
