Kamryn Aylesworth earns FFA American Degree

[June 22, 2019]   Kamryn Aylesworth, of Mount Pulaski, proudly accepted her nomination for the FFA American Degree at last week's Illinois FFA State Convention.

The American Degree is the highest FFA degree members can earn. Eligibility includes receiving a State FFA Degree, being an active member for the past three years, completing secondary instruction in an agricultural education program and operating a supervised agricultural experience program.

After a state-level interview and national staff review, the National FFA Board of Directors approved Aylesworth to receive the American FFA Degree at the 92nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis in November.

Aylesworth's record books included Equine Entrepreneurship, Equine Placement and Forest Management. Community service, leadership and scholastic achievement are also required.

Aylesworth is a senior at the University of Findlay in Ohio studying Equine Business Management and Western Training Studies She is active in Collegiate FFA, Horse Club and Vice-President of Ranch Horse Team.
