[March 04, 2019]  The Illini converted an incredibly eye popping 33-of-38 free throws on their way to an 81-76 victory over the Northwestern Wildcats.

Leading the way for the Illini was Andres Feliz who made 16 of 17 charity tosses while finishing with a career high 26 points. Feliz also hauled down 5 rebounds to go along with 3 assists and 3 steals.

The Illini got off to a good start, slowed down midway through the first half and led 37-25 at half. Illinois out rebounded the Cats 39-29 but turned it over an uncharacteristic 12 times. The Illini shot 45% from the field while holding the Cats to 40% shooting for the night.

Ago Dosunmu and Giorgi Bezhanishvili had 12 points each and Aaaron Jordan yanked down 10 huge rebounds.
