West Lincoln-Broadwell headed to State

[March 05, 2019]    The West Lincoln-Broadwell Lady Wolverines won the Class 7-1A Sectional 5 Monday night over A-C Central 25-8 and 25-11 to advance to the IESA State Tournament this weekend.

Anastin Simonson finished off set two with three consecutive aces to send the Lady Wolverines to their first sectional title since 1993. 

The Lady Wolverines were led by Kloe Froebe with 15 kills. Jenna Bowman had 9 aces to lead WLB. Regan Goodey led the team with 17 assists. Becca Heitzig had two digs. 

WLB (16-0) will play Belleville St. Teresa (17-2) Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the first round of the tournament.
