[March 05, 2019]    The return to the United States of Kenny Saief appears complete with the news that MLS expansion side FC Cincinnati is set to obtain the midfielder on loan from Belgium, ESPN reported Monday.

Indications are that only minor details remain in order to move Saief from his Anderlecht side to Cincinnati, with HLN of Belgium first reporting the move to Cincinnati, while Goal.com had the United States international headed to MLS last week.

Saief, 25, first participated with the United States Men's National team in 2017 but his playing time was slowed by a groin injury. He also needed hernia surgery. The Panama City, Fla., native has three caps for the USMNT with no goals.

He has scored one goal in 34 total games for Anderlecht. He also played for Belgian side KAA Gent, scoring 15 goals in 113 games across all competitions.

Saief has dual citizenship and previously played for Israel at the youth level.
