"Midtown" to replace "After Hours" at Sound of Illinois Concert

Much to our regret, due to unforeseen circumstances, After Hours will not be able to perform on our upcoming annual show, Saturday, March 16, 2019.

Therefore, we searched for a group we can proudly introduce as our special guest quartet. we feel very fortunate the current Mid Atlantic District champion quartet “MIDTOWN” answered our call on short notice and accepted our invitation to appear on our show. We can say that the quality of our show will be every bit as fun filled and entertaining as what we have brought to you in the past. Also featured will be our own chapter foursome “Interlude”, the reigning Illinois District Champion Quartet.

MIDTOWN formed in the spring of 2018 and quickly realized they had found something special with each other. Just a month later they won the Mid Atlantic Northern Division contest, and went on to win the Mid Atlantic District Quartet Championship in October!

These 4 guys are all professional entertainers for a living and have been singing barbershop most of their lives. One thing is clear when they take the stage… They love what they do and they have fun doing it.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday March 16th at the Illinois State University Center for the Performing Arts!
