[March 11, 2019]  CHAMPAIGN — Linda Hanslow, 68, of Champaign passed away on March, 3, 2019 at her home.

Celebration of Live: 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday March 17, 2019 at the Elk’s Lodge, 903 N. Dunlap Ave., Savoy

Obituary

Linda Hanslow 68, of Champaign passed away on March, 3, 2019 at her home. Linda was born on April, 10, 1950 in Lincoln, the daughter of Wilber and Dorothy Haseley. They precede her in death.

She is survived by Dale her husband of 49 years, sons; Bryan (Neva Clark) Hanslow, Aaron (Dawn) Hanslow, Craig (Katie) Hanslow, grandchildren; Drew Hanslow, Levi Hanslow, Sophia Hanslow, Holdyn Hanslow and Hadley Hanslow, and brother; Steve (Connie) Haseley.

Linda loved boating in the Ozarks, she enjoyed traveling and spending time soaking up the sun in Mexico.

She was a mammogram and MRI technician at OSF Hospital in Urbana and previously worked at Carle Hospital in Urbana, she loved her job and was very dedicated to her work. Linda was an active member of Mahomet Lutheran Church, Christ Lutheran Church and Newcomers and Oldcomers in Lake Ozark.

She loved to laugh and earned the nickname “Giggles” she loved having a fast paced life and liked to keep busy spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Linda’s celebration of life service will be held at the Elk’s Lodge 903 N. Dunlap Ave, Savoy, IL. 61874 on March 17th, 2019 from 3-6 pm with a short service at 3:30.

Please wear your favorite beach themed shirt, as you all know Linda loved the beach and SUN!!
