Lincoln Community Theater announces audition schedule for summer musicals
This season:  A grand night for Singing, On Golden Pond and Shrek the Musical

Lincoln Community Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for their summer season will be held next week. The 2019 productions will be A Grand Night for Singing, On Golden Pond, and Shrek the Musical.

For the production of our opening show of A Grand Night for Singing, auditions will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 1-4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln. Performers should come prepared with a song of their choice. Auditioners can sing acapella, bring sheet music for our accompanist or bring a device with the song on it to sing along.

A Grand Night for Singing will be presented at Johnston Center June 6-9 and will be directed by Brandon Davis and vocal directed by Tim Searby.

For the production of On Golden Pond, auditions will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 9-11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. Performers should come prepared having read the audition material on the LCT website or Facebook page.

On Golden Pond will be performed at the Johnston Center on the campus of Lincoln College June 27-30 and is directed by Mike Lovett.

For the production of Shrek the Musical, auditions will be held on Thursday, March 28th beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. Performers school-aged and up are welcome to audition.

Those wishing to audition for Shrek need to register online, prepare the audition dance, and have a song of their choice ready to sing. Auditioners can sing acapella, bring sheet music for our accompanist or bring a device with the song on it to sing along.

Shrek will be presented July 25-28 at the Johnston Center on the Lincoln College campus and will be directed by Jennifer Keith, assisted by Katie Gosda. Vocal direction will be done by David Helm and choreography by Emily Martinez.
