For the last several weeks LDN reporter and photographer Curtis Fox has been on a quest. He has made many a trip to Kickapoo Creek Park in Lincoln in search of a Barred Owl he was given to understand lives there. Along the way he caught good shots of a number of other members of the bird and animal kingdom, but not the owl. Last week he sent an email with these words 'I GOT IT!!" We knew immediately what he was talking about and opened the email with as much excitement as the subject line.

Curtis got some really good shots of the owl. One of his favorites is the one of the beautiful bird sleeping in a tree.

Curtis was also happy to share with us that the Eagle is back in its nest out by Cracker Barrel in Lincoln. We're happy to hear that as well.
