On Wednesday, April 24th Lincoln Christian University hosted their annual Women's Conference with a large number of women in attendance. The theme this year was "Love your Story...Embrace his Glory."

Guest speakers for the day were Sheila Walsh and Debbie Strater Sempsrott. The LCU Earl S. Hargrove Chapel was filled with women of all ages and backgrounds, coming together to hear the message that God would deliver through these wonderful speakers.

Sheila Walsh is Scottish and an accomplished Bible teacher, singer, author and co-host on the television program Life Today. She spoke about her newest book “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay.”

She shared her personal story and noted that no matter how good you pretend your life is or how bad it has been, it is only by God’s grace that you are free to live as a child of the King. She noted that when we love our story of how God found us we can truly embrace His glory and share with those around us.

Debbie Strater Sempsrott is a graduate of Lincoln Christian University and a very talented musician, educator, counselor and author. Her talk was about choosing your cruise and floating your boat.

Her story was personal and powerful about listening to God in the storms that come your way and sharing the journey of how God has brought you to this point. She stressed to the women "He loves you deeply and personally," and said that we all have a story tell and furthermore, it is not finished yet.

The day was filled great worship, excellent music, spirit-led speakers and Godly fellowship.
