LCHS announces 2019 scholarship recipients

[May 10, 2019]  LINCOLN - The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation has been created to enrich lifelong learning programs and provide educational opportunities for LCHS students.

The Foundation provides funds beyond the normal operating budget for community educational programs not available through tax revenues. The Foundation is a non-profit, independent, tax exempt organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are business and professional members of the community with a commitment to education.

The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors met on Wednesday, April 8, 2019 and made their scholarship selections from student applications from the Senior Class of 2019.

 

Winners are:

The Arthur and Luella Gimbel Scholarship ($5,000) will be awarded to Katie Lynn.

The LeRoy Allison Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to Trey Whitetree.

The Jason Jones Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) will be awarded to Austin Sparrow.

The James B. Maxwell Educational Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Laura Centers.

The Larry A. Hertzfeldt Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to Ryan Farmer.

The Vincent Beggs Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to:

Kacey Bennett,
Zachary Craig,
Brenden Eigenbrod,
Cameron Glick,
Hunter McKinney,
and Tate Mourning.

The Lincoln Community High School Scholarship Foundation Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to:

Mackenzie Antoine,
Nathaniel Arnold,
Brandon D’Andrea,
Jordan Dahl,
Alexis Davis,
Audrey Dennison,

Grace Montgomery,
Jenifer Porlas,
Connor Schmidt,
and Madilynn Yeates.

The Edna Dehner Memorial Scholarship ($500) will be awarded to:

Clint Cook,
Anjelia Dominguez,
Kaleb Franklin,
Joshua Houpt,
Mark Maaks,
Morgan Mollohan,
Kylie Nall,
Ashton Rodriguez,
Andrew Schmidt,
Drew Singleton,
Madeline Steiner,
and Tyler Van Hook.
