Joe Biagini (2-1) pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings in relief to pick up the win for the Blue Jays, who ended a five-game losing streak. The White Sox lost their third straight.

Ken Giles pitched a perfect ninth to earn his ninth save of the season.

Justin Smoak walked four times for the Blue Jays.

Tim Anderson hit a solo home run for the White Sox.

White Sox starter Dylan Covey (0-2) allowed three hits, five walks and four runs in 4 2/3 innings.

With scheduled starter Clay Buchholz put on the injured list with a sore shoulder on Friday, Daniel Hudson opened the game for the Blue Jays and pitched one inning to start a procession of six relievers.

The White Sox scored a run in the first on one-out doubles by Yoan Moncada and Jose Abreu.

The Blue Jays responded with three runs in the bottom of the first on Grichuk's sixth homer of the season following two-out walks to Smoak and Rowdy Tellez.

Hernandez led off the bottom of the second with his third homer of the season.

Gaviglio allowed a walk and had a strikeout in the sixth before Tim Mayza took over and pitched around a walk.

Ryan Tepera allowed singles to Anderson and Charlie Tilson to start the seventh. Ryan Cordell sacrificed the runners to second and third. Anderson scored on Leury Garcia's groundout to second. Biagini replaced Tepera and struck out Moncada to end the inning and pitched a perfect eighth.
