Mount Pulaski Boy Scouts to host annual Flag Retirement Ceremony this weekend

Mount Pulaski Boy Scout Troop 122 will be holding its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Steenburgen Cemetery this weekend.

This is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, dependent on weather. An alternative date in the event of weather, is Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

The BSA Troop wants to extend an invitation to our community to observe this honorable ceremony.

If you have a flag that needs retired, they can be taken to 103 S. Spring St, the corner of Spring and Jefferson (Greg Maus & Pamela Erlenbush residence) and left in a box designated for flags to be retired by noon, this Saturday.
