Letters to the Editor

Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community.

Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

To the editor:

The Mount Pulaski High School Post Prom Committee would like to thank all of the businesses, civic organizations, and individuals who helped to make the Post Prom a huge success this year! This event was held from 11:30 PM on Saturday, May 4, until 6:00 AM on Sunday, May 5, at Mount Pulaski High School. Students had a great time during the event which included bingo, inflatable human foosball, inflatable obstacle course, 9 square, inflatable light challenge, inflatable hungry hippo, hypnotist show, vegas games, a magic show, and a lot of guest prizes!

The students also enjoyed pizza, wings, a coffee bar, drinks, snacks, an ice cream bar, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and sausage.

This event would not be possible without the continued support and generosity of multiple individuals, businesses, and civic organizations.
