Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital is partnering with the University
of Illinois Extension to celebrate National Diabetes Awareness Day.
A public event will be held at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at
200 Stahlhut Drive in Lincoln on Thursday, November 14th to teach
participants about pressure cookers. The event will take place in
the Steinfort Conference Room.
Pressure cookers are very popular but are oftentimes intimidating to
use. Those in attendance will learn the differences and features of
electric pressure and multi-cookers.

Safety and tips for cooking food quickly will also be discussed. Food samples
will be available. To register for the event, interested individuals should call
