Stock futures erase losses on report of likely U.S. tariff delay

[November 21, 2019]  Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures moved sharply higher on Thursday after South China Morning Post reported that U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports due Dec. 15 could be delayed even if a trade deal was not signed by then.

 

At 8:12 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis <1YMcv1> were up 36 points, or 0.13%. S&P 500 e-minis <EScv1> were up 4.5 points, or 0.14% and Nasdaq 100 e-minis <NQcv1> were up 9.75 points, or 0.12%.
