[October 04, 2019]  WAYNESVILLE - Dorotha R. Finger Terrell, 84, of Waynesville, passed away at 6:18 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville

Obituary

Dorotha R. Finger Terrell, 84, of Waynesville, passed away at 6:18 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Graveside services for Dorotha will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville. Mr. Maurice Stribling will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Dorotha Rose Fields was born Dec. 13, 1934, in Clinton, the daughter of Lewis W. and Mildred L. Preston Fields. She first married Raymond Finger. He preceded her in death. She later married Jim Terrell. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter: Tina Coppenbarger of Wapella; two granddaughters: Jaclyn Furman of Waynesville and Karen (Craig) Stotts of Bloomington; three great-grandchildren: Tanner and Timothy Furman, and Ava Stotts; and three sisters: Nellie Nelson of Clinton, Sara Ann Campbell of Clinton, and Verna (Peter) Friedmansky of Lexington.

Funeral Director

Dorotha was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Dorotha was a member of the Waynesville Christian Church and the Waynesville American Legion Auxiliary. She had worked at the DeWitt County Nursing Home in Hallsville as a cook.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the Atlanta National Bank.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
