Saturday, October 5, 2019 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.

Obituary
Bill J. Carter, 63, of Elkhart,
passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at HSHS St.
John’s Hospital, Springfield.
Bill was born on February 25, 1956 in Logan County,
the son of Donald H. and Norma Marie (Carter)
Prince.
Bill is survived by his brothers, Donald (Vickie)
Prince and Steve (Jennifer) Prince.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill retired as a technician from Lincoln
Developmental Center in Lincoln. He furthered his
career of helping others by working at Brother James
Court in Springfield, where he helped the
underprivileged and took them on outings. His
favorite activity for the young men at Brother James
Court was taking them to St. Louis to watch his
beloved St. Louis Cardinals play ball. |
There will be no services for Bill at
this time. Memorial donations may be made in Bill’s
name to Brother James Court in Springfield.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
