Local Humane Society encourages involvement in state humane investigator program
Applications available at HSLC and should be returned by October 11th for November 15th testing

[October 08, 2019]  LINCOLN - If you would like to become a state-licensed humane investigator for the Humane Society of Logan County, please stop by the shelter and pick up an application.

The application that goes to the state of Illinois includes verification of education, veterinarian letter, and sponsorship letter from HSLC. The Humane Society of Logan County will provide basic understanding of the Humane Care for Animals Act.

An investigator is licensed for two years.

Please stop by the shelter to pick up an application and return it to the shelter by Friday, October 11, 2019.

State testing is November 15, 2019 and is limited to 100 people.
