[October 11, 2019]    The Lincoln College Men’s Soccer team had five different players score goals and goalie Pierson Fleming made four saves to preserve another shutout for the team’s third win in-a-row and eighth of the season. Lincoln earned the home victory over William Woods University.

LC senior Adrian Roman (Waukegan) scored just six minutes into the match and junior Abdoulaye Sylla (Moline) added a second goal in the 30th minute of play to send the Lynx into the half with a 2-0 lead.

Lincoln stayed on the attack in the second half, pouring ten shots on goal and finding the back of the net three more times. Two of the second half goals were recorded by senior Peter Ukaegbu (Chicago) and the other came from freshman Diego Navia (Ecuador).

The Lynx (8-5-1) will be in action next on Saturday, October 12th at Oakland City University.
