The Vault Teen Center in Clinton is celebrating its one year
birthday as well as the unveiling of its newly completed lower level
this Saturday with an open house.
The Vault is an almost 11,000 square feet teen center on the square
in Clinton.
It was made possible by an entire community coming together to meet
a need for local kids.
Organizers pooled thousands of community service hours and monetary
resources and raised over $400,000 to meet the need and open the
doors with Phase One last October.
The organization is happy to announce the first anniversary of the
Vault and to reveal the newly renovated lower level.
A community night celebration will be held on Saturday, October 19th
from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Vault features a mini-bowling alley, gaga ball pit, art center, a living
mural, shuffleboard, pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, electronic
basketball, giant connect four, bags, carpet ball, darts, puzzle and legos
table, game tables, gaming, a prize vault, a stage for concerts and karaoke, a
student-run café, tutoring room, crisis resource room, and more!
There are currently over 350 junior high and high school students registered
with an average of 150 kids who benefit from the mentoring, tutoring, events,
and programming each week.
The hope is to get the word out to kids from other communities that they are
welcome, too! Events and services are completely free with very rare exceptions
for trips and special events!
Please mark you calendar and make the short trip to the heart of Clinton on
Saturday evening. Youth from all surrounding areas are welcome. Parents are
welcome to come see the facility and talk with volunteers and others about the
programs. Hope to see you all there.
