[October 30, 2019]  LINCOLN — Betty Eileen Dodson, 91, of Lincoln, passed away at St. Clara’s Manor on October 12, 2019 at 12:20 a.m. She was born on June 21, 1928 in Mason City, the daughter of Henry and Lois (Broady) Perkins.

Betty Eileen Dodson, 91, of Lincoln, passed away at St. Clara’s Manor on October 12, 2019 at 12:20 a.m. She was born on June 21, 1928 in Mason City, the daughter of Henry and Lois (Broady) Perkins.

Betty is survived by her four sons, Robert D. (Jean) Thomas of Mason City, Larry G. Thomas of Brazil, IN, Stephen L. (Gerlinde) Thomas of Greenville, SC, and Kevin L. Humberd of Mount Pulaski. She is also survived by one brother, Gary Perkins, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marcella Skaggs, and two granddaughters, Courtney Thomas and Alexandria Thomas.

Betty was a social butterfly who loved bowling, spending time with her children and great grandchildren. She worked as a Machine Operator for Lehn Fink for 33 years before retiring. After retirement she enjoyed working at Mel O Cream in Lincoln for 18 years.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a service will be held for Betty at a later date.
