			 [September 05, 2019]
Logan County Clerk Theresa Moore wants to remind voters there is
no election in Illinois in November of 2019. Moore said her
office has received a few calls from voters inquiring about what day
in November the election will be held, where they vote and who is on
			the ballot.
Many standard calendars list Tuesday, November 5, 2019 as Election
Day, but that is not the case in Illinois. The next election will
be the General Primary on March 17, 2020, in which voters will
nominate within their party for those they want to represent them in
the November 3, 2020 General Election.

Petitions are now being circulated for placement on the March 17, 2020 Primary
Ballot, which leads to additional confusion by the electorate.
