Mount Pulaski’s Alyson Murphy (15) was a key player in the Honeybears 4-3 Regional win over Central A & M. Murphy’s two-run single put Mount Pulaski in front late in the game. In this photo from August 22, 2019 Murphy is going through the lineup with Hartsburg-Emden following a Honeybear win in which she ended the game with an unassisted double play. Murphy is a sixth-grader.

Murphy and Grace Davis had the only hits for Mount Pulaski against a very tough Central A & M team.
