The Lincoln College Men’s Soccer team dropped back-to-back matches in a weekend road trip to Indiana.

On Friday, Lincoln traveled to Richmond, Indiana to take on Indiana University East and came away with a 3-1 loss. Two first half goals by IUE put them in command for most of the contest. LC’s Adrian Roman (Waukegan) scored off an assist from fellow senior Alexis Garcia (Dade City) in the 81st minute to cut the lead to 2-1, but Indiana was able to go up 3-1 with a goal in the 88th minute to seal the victory.

Lincoln came back the next day with a match at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. This time Lincoln fell by a count of 4-1 with the lone LC goal coming from Manta, Ecuador native Miguel De La Rosa in the 62nd minute off an assist from Ignacio Ximenez (Gwinnett, GA).

Lincoln (4-4-1) plays next at home on September 21st against Oakland City University. Start time is set for 2:00 PM.
