Public invited to help break the World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Abe Lincoln
Event to be held in Lincoln September 21st

[September 20, 2019]  LINCOLN - The public is invited by the Logan County Tourism Bureau to help break the World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Abe Lincoln at the Logan County Courthouse - 601 Broadway Street, Lincoln on September 21, 2019.

Registration for the event will take place across the street from the courthouse at the Lincoln Art Institute - 112 S Mclean St, Lincoln, from 8am-2pm with the event starting at 3pm.

Participants must provide their own attire.

The following attire must be worn to count in the attempt:

Stovepipe Top hat, an ear to ear beard without a mustache (beards may be fake), a long black suit coat, a white collared shirt, a black waistcoat (vest), and a black bow tie.

Each person must be instantly recognizable as Abraham Lincoln.

Each person must know that they are Abe Lincoln, therefore animals and children 3 years old and younger will not be counted in the attempt.
