[April 09, 2020]    Deiy Shuff began practicing yoga in 2017 and soon realized yoga was more than just asanas/physical poses, it was a way of life that became transformational. She is a 200hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) with a holistic approach, centered around a body & mind connection, and focusing on body alignment to achieve the highest benefits for all.

Take time today for yourself

Whether your outlet is art, working out, family, or yoga we can all find joy during this time by exploring things that bring us peace.

As our surroundings have evolved and become more restricted allow yourself freedom to move today.

My yoga practice has evolved as well so don't be afraid to meet yourself where you're at in this moment.

Yoga has been benefiting the mind, body, and soul for thousands of years. Yoga truly is for every body regardless of age, class, weight, race, or religion. It brings people from all over the world together.

The modified camel pose you see here can be done right in your living room. Begin by kneeling on your mat, as you arch backwards slowly elongate the arms behind you. If this pose seems too difficult or challenging you can aide this movement with props to bring the ground closer to you.

This technique releases lower back pain that may be caused from stagnant activity. You can choose any variations that best serves your body. Remember to take a big deep breath in and as you exhale ease back into the pose releasing all stagnant energy through your finger tips. Try holding this pose for at least 30seconds if you can. And repeat on both sides.

Take this time today for yourself and release all anxiety or fear you're holding onto.
